We came to try out their West Java Feast menu promotion, which included a free flow of anything on the special menu which meant that if we wanted more of a particular item, we were more than welcome to order more for no extra cost. We ended up with very full bellies and only topped up with extra rice. The portions were more than enough for the two of us. Everything was flavourful and cooked to perfection. The chicken was very well seasoned and tender, the fish had a gorgeous crunch on the outside and flaky juicy inside. The rice, tofu and vegetables were paired nicely with the meats. The menu overall had the right balance of sweet, salty, tangy with variety of textures that complimented everything well. Not to mention how absolutely amazing the service was. When we booked for the feast earlier that afternoon, they made sure everything was prepared and ready for our reservation that night. We waited maybe 10 minutes when we arrived before it all started coming onto our table. Our servers were so friendly and accommodating. Overall we were very impressed with this hidden gem. Service, food and atmosphere was amazing. Will be coming back to try the food in their normal menu and recommending our friends and family to Monggo.
Such a lovely little Balinese restaurant. Everytime I've been here, service has been outstanding! The lovely lady is always so attentive, polite and friendly. Food is always so fresh and full of flavour!! The Decor inside is so calm and relaxing!! Lunch deals at $12! It's our new spot for lunch
Ate here before gig at Astor, good job we booked as place was packed ! Waitresses were lovely, welcoming, enthusiastic, tips when ordering and on top of their tables. Food was lovely n tasty. We had Nasi Goreng, mie goreng and lamb shank curry. Nicely presented ..... highly recommend
Great restaurant just outside the busy area in Mt Lawley. Cozy and quite squished if it was packed, only one wait staff. Food was fantastic, beautiful presentation And delicious flavours. Very authentic Indonesian food with a modern twist, wonderful balance of sweet and salty with great flavours coming through in every bite!
One of my favourite Indonesian restaurant. They are serving Balinese cuisine. I like the Nasi Java which is amazing. The chicken meat is tender with a little bit of special sauce. The satay is good as well. $14 for the lunch is value for money.
We ordered the vegan platter, vegan Gado Gado and the vegan cauliflower dish. Beautiful flavours of spice and peanut sauce. Very satisfying. Thank you

Nice atmosphere and decent food. Found a few of the dishes were a bit too westernised for my liking but all in all it was fairly good.
